Greetings Tempe Montessori Alumni!

Tempe Montessori is coming up on its 34th year of providing a Montessori education for the children of Arizona. Over the years we have seen more than 4,000 children and families walk though our classroom doors. We are delighted that we can continue to provide the same quality education to each and every child who enters our classroom environments as we have since our doors opened in 1978. Following in her mother Therese’s footsteps, Lauren Bolar is assisting Irma Letson with Ad- ministration and office duties. Jessica Van den Akker (Acedo) another former TMS Alumnus will be joining them this Fall.

Join us for our Open House January 28th at 10am. Use this as an opportunity to bring friends and family to share your child’s classroom and experience with them as well as an opportunity to meet with our elementary teacher Mrs. Michelle. We will hold enrollment for our elementary program in February of 2012 and will also be accepting applications for re enrollment for the toddler and primary programs in February 2012!

Born and raised on a farm in rural Indiana, Michelle Nuest graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Retail Management and a minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. She is currently training with Hershey Montessori Training Institute for ages 6-12. Michelle loves working with children and sharing her knowledge creatively with arts, music, and rhythm. Her favorite things to do within the classroom include helping the children discover their own creativity and expanding the skills and talents they already possess. She looks forward to sharing her expertise with animals and agriculture with the children and providing a supportive environment. Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, traveling to new food places and taking walks with their dog, Samurai and playing with the cat, Ninja. Michelle looks forward to her first year at Tempe Montessori and becoming a part of the community.
