Welcome to TEMPO – The Tempe Montessori Parent Organization

Tempe Montessori Parents’ Organization (TEMPO) was established in 1995. TEMPO exists to preserve and enhance the mission of Tempe Montessori School (TMS). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of students seeking a Montessori education.

We are committed to enable student-directed learning and the joy of discovery, expand the child’s views of the world, inspire in-depth study, and develop social responsibility, including the principles of peace.

TEMPO holds fund raisers and accepts donations to support the mission of Tempe Montessori School.

TEMPO provides funding for scholarships, classroom materials, guest speakers, field trips and continued teacher professional development.

TEMPE MONTESSORI SCHOOL, founded 1978, celebrates the universal developmental needs of children and the cultural diversity of humankind.

Remember to collect those Box Tops, My Coke Rewards, and Capri Sun pouches throughout the year so we can start out 2015-2016 fundraising with a bang!

We hope everyone has enjoyed the school year as much as we have. We welcome your feedback and look forward to seeing everyone at TEMPO meetings this year.

There is a lot happening here at the Tempe Montessori School. We have many activities from the International Children’s Day to our Spring Silent Auction (Parent’s Night Out) and monthly school as well as TEMPO (parent organization) meetings. All of our activities are designed to enhance your child’s care, learning and experience while they are here with us. Additionally many of our activities are geared towards you as parents to enhance your experience and growth with the Montessori teaching method which should help you better understand what your children are doing throughout the day and to help you better understand your children in general.
