3months to walking age (14 months)
7:30-8:30 – Children arrive
**Children who have not eaten or who are hungry will have breakfast
8:30-10:00 – Work Period: Includes use of developmental aids for fine motor skills, language, movement, and development of the will, concentration and the will. Scheduled time for the parents to visit. Morning snack time for children eating solid/jar foods. Outdoor play and exploration – depending on the weather. During hot months outdoor time will shift to 9:30am.
10:00-11:00 – Morning nap time for sleepers/work time for the children who are awake. Scheduled time for parents to visit.
11:00-12:00 – Lunch clean up
12:00-1:00 – Continue working period
12:30 – Half Day Pickup
1:00/1:30 – 3:00 – Nap time (children who awake may transition into the work/movement areas)
**When children awake from nap a snack is provided
2:30-3:00 – Transition to aftercare staff
3:00-3:30 – Music and movement
3:30-4:00 – Outdoor time
4:00-4:30 – Afternoon snack
4:30-5:00 – Work period/movement and music or rest as needed
5:00-5:30 – Work period/movement and music or rest as needed
5:30-6:00 – If dinner is provided children will eat dinner
6:00 – Late pick up time
This daily schedule is set however, is due to change based on the infants daily need for nourishment and rest. Diaper changes and toilet visits are routine as the child is soiled. Breast feeding parents are free to come and feed whenever possible. Each child’s unique, natural biological rhythms are observed and respected as he or she goes about the daily work of self-creation; creating the person within the child.
