Mrs. Irma Letson founded Tempe Montessori in 1978 for children and families seeking an education for the whole child.

We strive to meet each family’s individual needs and to follow the children through their social, emotional, and academic development. TMS is family owned and operated, serving families and children three months through twelve years of age.

Dr. Maria Montessori’s revolutionary pedagogy and philosophy aligned with the needs of the children. As one of the original Montessori Schools in the state of Arizona, we continue to meet the needs of today’s children. Recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale, we provide quality, high-fidelity programs for surrounding communities.
