FAMILY TESTIMONIALS
“We’ve sent both of our girls to TMS and are always impressed with the approach and passion for our children’s development. The focus on age-appropriate independent activities has increased their confidence and enabled them to flourish and grow. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of the TMS community.”

“Choosing Tempe Montessori School for our children has been one of the best decisions we have made as parents. The teachers and staff are incredible at what they do. Our children LOVE going to school every day and they enjoy telling us all about their day when they get home. We love being a part of the TMS community!”

“Our family started at Tempe Montessori in 2013. At each stage of development, TMS has given our children just what they need: love and nurturing in the Nido environment, a focus on practical skills in the Toddler class, lessons about Grace and Courtesy in Primary, and curiosity and a love of learning in the Elementary class. TMS has provided an environment with knowledgeable and caring teachers and staff, and a kid-friendly setting with gardens, animals, and lots of space to run and explore. The kids are thriving, excelling academically, and excited to come to school every day!”

“Our family has been a part of TMS for nearly 10 years and we are so grateful for the teachers, staff and the Montessori program at TMS. We started in the toddler classroom and both my children finished 5th grade at TMS. The elementary program at TMS is one that nurtures the individual learning style and passions each student has, while also teaching community and personal responsibility as well as self reliance. The “classroom” isn’t confined to books, lessons and tests; a Montessori child’s classroom extends to all areas of their life. Experiential learning the children get through experiments, social activities, and leadership opportunities is priceless. The transition out of a Montessori classroom to a middle school was seamless and my children were well equipped to take notes, study on their own, meet new people and excel in new areas of study, having lit their own fire for learning thanks to TMS.”

“We first started at TMS 3 years ago with our oldest, we didn’t really know what we were getting in to. We thought it would be a good place for him to spend the day while we went to work. After just a few short weeks, we realized TMS is so much more than that! The faculty is incredible. The attention they give to the students is top notch and they really care about every child. They know all the parents and other students’ name. You really feel like you are a part of the family at TMS. The campus is also incredible. You’ve got a rooster walking around, goats in the pen, and a ton of space for the kids to learn and play. The curriculum is so diverse and really helps the kids learn important skills. We loved the experience so much we sent our 2nd child there without hesitation. To see their development up until this point is astounding. They are well beyond their years and I attribute a lot of that to the help TMS gives them. I would (and do) highly recommend TMS to anyone looking for a daytime-during-the-week home for their children.”

“We joined the TMS community in 2018 and we have 2 children enrolled there. I first toured TMS when I was newly pregnant with my oldest and left with that warm and fuzzy feeling like it was meant to be. The staff, environment, community, and curriculum are stellar. I wouldn’t trade this Montessori experience for anything. I think our two children are the best versions of themselves largely due to the love, care, and guidance they receive from school everyday.”

“TMS has been so incredible for our family. We have 3 children that attend and each of our kids started at the school at 3 months in the NIDO room. We now have a child in the Toddler class, Primary Class and one in the Elementary Class. As a working mother, it is always so hard to leave each baby and return to work. One of the main reasons the transition was even possible for me is because I knew they were going to a warm, loving and nurturing environment surrounded by adults that love and respected them deeply. As our children have gotten older and progressed through the Montessori program at TMS we have been so impressed with the richness of the education including the confidence and capabilities my children have developed. Our kids approach the world with respect, compassion and curiosity which I attribute a large part to the TMS community. The entire staff at TMS has always been so amazing and helpful. They partner with us as parents to troubleshoot or solve challenges that come up and provide great feedback and advice. They have played a central role in our family and for that we will be forever grateful.”
