Ms. Shantidas is an Arizona native and also attended Tempe Montessori as a child for 6 years, from primary through lower elementary. Shantidas originally received her diploma in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. She later received her AMI Assistants to Infancy diploma from Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies (SIMS). Shantidas has also taken the Primary Assistants training from SIMS. She has taken a course in baby led weaning and various professional development courses that include understanding attachment, trauma, and biological infant/toddler sleep.

In her free time, Ms. Shantidas enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, and occasionally making jewelry. She aspires to one day write a children's book. She loves to learn and is equally passionate about early childhood development and living a non-toxic life and is constantly researching and seeking to learn more.
