Hello we are the DeRycke Family!

Cameron is three years old and is in Mrs. Smita’s class. Cailin turned 1 in May and just transitioned to Ms. Natti’s class! We will miss Mrs. Shantidas and all the lovely times we’ve had in NIDO! We have been going to TMS since Cameron was about 6 months old I look forward to serving as the TEMPO president and getting to know you all this year!

VICE PRESIDENT

My name is Kenna, mom to Isla (4), and I am so thrilled to be participating in TEMPO this year as the Vice President! I am a relief printmaker (think: intricately carved stamps out of wood) and an illustrator- I love creating, and teaching others about the process. Our family of three loves to spend time outside in the garden with our chickens, and creating things together- from knitting to clay, to cooking, we love spending time together making things with our hands. We have had the pleasure of being a part of the TMS community for a year, and are so looking forward to the year ahead!

Marissa Rose, mom to Stevie (4) and Charlie (2) partner to Shawn Morrison. We have been at TMS since Stevie was in NIDO. TMS has provided support, love and caring to our family on so many levels extended further than just school. I am originally from New York, Shawn is an Arizona native. I am a Nurse Practitioner and passionate about health and wellness. Shawn is a Phoenix Fire Captain. We spend time together as a family on the lake, camping, hiking, boating, and finding adventures.

TREASURER

Kieren McCord is thrilled to continue on the TEMPO board for her second year as treasurer. Kieren loves cooking, baking, and getting outside to hike or paddleboard with her husband, Taylor. She loves hanging out with her daughter, Ruthie (Ms. Natti’s class) and her new baby Lincoln (Ms. Shanti’s class). She works as a research scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, researching acoustics, indoor environmental quality, and sustainable building design. She looks forward to getting to know more people in the TMS community, so please feel free to come introduce yourself!
